L’orangerie du domaine
The orangery is a superb 19th century building, monitored by the Heritage Foundation and situated about 100 metres from the main house. It has recently been completely transformed into a comfortable dwelling house. On the ground floor – where plants, lemon and orange trees were once stored – the large renovated glass window floods the living spaces with light : an integrated and top-of-the-range fitted kitchen adjoining a scullery and laundry room, wc, bathroom, dining room and living room. On the ground floor, which allows direct access to the swimming pool and the SPA, a large living room of 60m2 allows you to meet in very pleasant conditions, with friends, family or in meetings and business seminars. Another living room can be used as a workplace or can be transformed into a bedroom (with bathroom). On the two upper floors, 6 bedrooms with their own shower room or bathroom with wc. We don’t forget the living net, comfortably suspended, on which you can relax while reading!
The orangery is equipped with multimedia equipment (screen, video projector) and fiber to offer you ideal working conditions. Our steward will be there to welcome you and will remain present throughout your stay.

The renovation of the Orangery
Since 2018 and the support of the Mission Bern for the renovation of the facade of our orangery, we had the crazy dream of renovating this superb building… And this project took shape in 2021 and 2022. the orangery was completely renovated and fitted out and can now accommodate 15 people (7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, private pool, spa) with large common areas.
This project would not have been possible without the support of several public institutions : the Fondation du Patrimoine, the European Union and its LEADER development fund, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, the ADI Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the community of Commune ELAN and the municipality of La Jonchère-Saint-Maurice. Without forgetting all the stakeholders on the site, without whom the transformation of this charming building would not have seen the light of day. We thank them all very warmly.
